Officially, the "Aerocoupe" name was only used for the Monte Carlo SS with the sloped rear window, which had hot-wire folds at the sides. The Grand Prix version, with the smoother (and even more sloped) bubble-style rear window seen here, only used the "2+2" name โ€” an odd misnomer, as these had adult-sized rear seats just like any other GM coupe on the G-Special platform.
