what is difference between a grand national and a T type. And is there a third variety called turbo regal? Regal t-type is the model. Grand National is a package. There is no info in the VIN that designates GN, only t-type. In 87 it was a T option on the regals, though not all were turbos. No regal was called a t-type in 87. 8 87we410877
